Warranty Wallet is owned and published by Muhammad Safeer. This Privacy Policy explains how Warranty Wallet handles information in the current version of the app.

1 Overview

Warranty Wallet is designed to help users save and manage product warranty details, receipts, purchase dates, expiry dates, notes, and reminders.

The current version of Warranty Wallet works locally on the user's device. The app does not have servers, does not require an account, does not use ads, and does not include analytics or tracking SDKs.

2 Information Stored in the App

Users may choose to save information such as:

This information is stored locally on the user's device using local app storage (IndexedDB / local storage).

3 No Account or Login

Warranty Wallet does not require users to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address.

4 No Cloud Storage

The current version of Warranty Wallet does not upload, sync, or store user warranty data on our servers.

All warranty records and images remain on the user's device unless the user manually exports or shares the data using their device features.

5 No Advertising, Analytics, or Tracking

The current version of Warranty Wallet does not include:

If any of these features are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before release.

6 Device Permissions

Warranty Wallet may request access to certain device features only when needed:

Camera

Used only when the user chooses to capture or attach a photo of a receipt or warranty card.

Notifications

Used only to show local expiry reminders on the user's device.

Storage, Files, or Share

Used only when the user chooses to export, save, import, or share a backup file.

7 Exported Data

Warranty Wallet may allow users to export warranty records as a JSON file.

Exported files are controlled by the user. If the user saves or shares the file through services such as Google Drive, email, file manager, or another app, that service's privacy policy applies.

Users are responsible for keeping exported files secure.

8 Data Deletion

Users can delete warranty records inside the app.

Users may also clear app data or uninstall the app from their device. Because the current version stores data locally, uninstalling the app or clearing app data may remove locally saved warranty information.

9 Data Security

Because Warranty Wallet stores data locally on the user's device, users should protect their device with a secure lock screen and keep Android updated.

Exported JSON backup files may not be encrypted. Users should store exported files safely.

10 Children's Privacy

Warranty Wallet is not directed at children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11 Future Features

In the future, Warranty Wallet may add optional features such as cloud backup, account login, advertising, analytics, premium upgrades, or in-app purchases.

If these features are added, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what data is collected, how it is used, and what choices users have.
